Richard has been involved in Apprenticeship training for over 20 years.

At Kaplan he leads one the largest Apprenticeship providers in the UK, providing Professional Service Apprenticeships to over 3,000 employers.

Before that he worked for the National Apprenticeship Service and Skills Funding Agency on Apprenticeship funding and policy.

Richard started his career at Vodafone where he introduced Modern Apprenticeships and then moved to Volkswagen where he was responsible for training content.

Richard writes for the FE press and regularly speaks about Apprenticeship matters at conferences in the UK and abroad.
