Mark is the Head of Development at learning disability charity Mencap. He has worked for Mencap for 22 years and was instrumental in setting up their “3 Ships” programmes (supported Internships, traineeships and apprenticeships).

Although relatively new to apprenticeship delivery, with a focus on learning disability, learning difficulty and autism, Mencap has some real insight into what works well and also the challenges faced by providers in supporting people with additional needs through apprenticeship programmes. Mark is able to share learning and offer some tips to other providers.
