Kirstie Donnelly MBE

Chief Executive Officer, City and Guilds

As Chief Executive of the City & Guilds Group I am committed to leading our organisation in fulfilling on our purpose of helping people, organisations and economies develop their skills for growth and fulfil potential. As a leader in global skills development an important aspect of my work is building highly effective networks and external influencing of the broader skills agenda across Governments both UK and internationally, as well as with Employers and other key stakeholders to ensure the products and services we design and develop have the maximum impact for the end users.

Throughout my 32 year career in lifelong learning, education and skills, I have always been a passionate advocate of opening up access to opportunities through digital technologies and I am constantly looking at innovative ways to have more reach and impact for individuals and employers alike,  through the development of award winning products and services, as well as finding ways to break down the barriers to social mobility, diversity and inclusion,  which is why I am very proud to also be a Trustee of the Prince’s Trust.

I was awarded an MBE in the Queens Honours for services to e-learning in the FE/Adult sector.
